If you did, thank you. Thank you for respecting me and other authors for their hard work, understanding this is our job, and while we love it, we do deserve to be compensated for all the hours, and hours, and hours we put into it.
If you did not… Go buy one! You are a thief and your parents and grandparents and cute animals all around the world are ashamed of you. There is no justification for committing this crime because it is a crime, no different than walking into a physical bookstore, taking a print copy off the shelf, and walking out of the store without paying for it.
There is no such thing as a victimless crime. If you truly believe that, you’ve never been a victim. And the victims aren’t only the authors, but the fans who lose authors that quit over our constantly being stolen from and mistreatment. Mistreating the authors that write the books you like or read—not liking them isn’t an excuse for theft, it’s just extra weird then—that’s not a fan. Fans leave reviews to support. Fans send messages of love. Fans… Well fans are nice. Be nice.

A succubus working as a stripper sounds like a cliché or start of a bad joke, but Lola Chase is in a human only province in Canada for other reasons. Someone is murdering women society looks down on, and she’s there to stop it. As a demon, she’s bottom of the supernatural food chain and knows how often people ignore crimes against them.
From the start there isn’t much to go on, and she ends up getting in a bit of trouble following any leads she gets. Things get complicated when an ancient, big name vampire takes interest in her and getting away from him proves to be much harder than her normal admirers. Thankfully, although her cover is a stripper, Lola loves to dance and the fun she has helps balance out the stress and worry of the case.
Plus, she finds some very hot men to play with and feed from. The question is whether or not she can balance it all and find a murderer before he kills again.
Untraceable Succubus is a murder mystery series where the sex is hot and often and the main character kicks some serious ass on the road to finding out if she can have real love in her life even if it comes from multiple men.

“You like that?” I taunted as I rubbed my breasts against his face while grinding on his lap. He let out a long groan and nodded, pushing closer to get more contact. I let him and then leaned in and nibbled on his ear until he almost came. “Good, then give me the fattest tip you can and go home to your wife and use all this energy to treat her like the queen she is for putting up with you coming to strip clubs while she’s waiting at home for you.”
He nodded, and I moved off of his lap, giving him a good view of my ass as I bent over to retrieve my bra. I put it on, smirking at the boner he had as he stood. He took out his wallet and gave me all the bills in it since he’d planned on spending awhile here. I took it and kissed his cheek, wishing him luck with his wife, before walking out of the private room and to the employee area.
I stuffed the money in my purse and locked it back up before changing for my next dance. I put on a good show even if it was a slow night and small crowd, so the owner was happy with me. A few more lap dances after that and I was done for the night.
“You okay, hon?” I asked one of the girls sitting at her station looking like she was seconds from breaking down.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” she lied as she wiped under her eyes. “Too many slow nights when I can’t afford them.”
It was more than that. I could feel her desperate desire for money and security. “You need some sleep and to not work every night.”
She chuckled darkly. “I got two kids to feed and rent due. I don’t get sleep.”
I pulled out the money I’d made on the lap dances and set it on the counter. “Take a few days off and recharge. You’ll make better tips then.”
“I can’t take this,” she argued, trying to give it back without even counting it.
“Yeah, you can.” I folded her hands around the money. “Take it and take a breath. We all need it. When I need it, maybe you can cover a shift or dance for me I don’t want to take.” I smiled when she nodded, clutching the stack to her chest. “We gotta look out for each other because no one else will.”
“Ain’t that the sad truth.” She gave me a teary gaze. “Thanks, Lola, really, thank you.”
I gave her a wink and headed out. It wasn’t like I needed the money, and I had the stack from my stage dances, so it was still a worthwhile night.
Even if I came up dry on leads.
“Hey, your dance was amazing,” a guy waiting out back praised. “I mean, you were really phenomenal.”
I smiled at him and was ready to be dismissive so I could get home, but then I saw something in his gaze I didn’t like. His desires were dark too, and at first I was annoyed the bouncers let someone hang out waiting when they weren’t supposed to allow that shit.
But now I was glad. I studied the guy and gave him a bigger smile.
There is no way the guy I’m looking for just shows up a week after I get to town. I’m never that lucky.
Still, it was worth the chance, as I was nowhere so far, and waiting for another murder wasn’t how I liked to work.
“Yeah? You a fan?” I purred, moving closer. “What part you like?”
“Your fucking tits,” he panted as he stared at them.
I suppressed the urge to roll my eyes. I meant the part of my dance, and he answers with my body. Ass. Hole. “Well, thanks. Come back as often as you want.”
“What’s your hurry?” he asked, grabbing my arm. “You got a man you’re rushing home to?”
“No, I don’t keep anyone,” I giggled, playing the part and not reacting like normal when someone grabbed me. “I like flying solo and free.”
That was the understatement of the century. I never had any repeats. Not ever.
“Good, let’s hang out.”
I glanced over my shoulder. “We’re not supposed to. Security’s watching.” I leaned in like I was hugging him goodbye. “Where do you want to meet?”
“Follow me in your car,” he offered easily, but I saw the bad things dancing in his eyes. Good. The asshole would find out that he wasn’t actually the predator here.
I nodded and acted like I was saying goodnight, heading to my nondescript car I’d picked up when I’d come into town. He hurried over to his, and a few minutes later we were driving along the main road before turning off to a seedier area with a lot of abandoned buildings and trouble.
I did love trouble.
“I don’t think it’s safe here,” I told him after I parked and got out. “I thought you’d take me to breakfast.”
“Yeah, sure thing,” he agreed quickly. “I just want to show you the place I bought. I’ve got a new business going up.”
“Yeah?” I asked, smiling brightly at him like I was that easy to fool and only cared for money. “Okay, yeah, show me.” I made sure to leave my purse in the car and took his hand when he offered it. He opened the door of the dilapidated warehouse for me and hurried me inside. A bit farther into the building and I was clued in on what the bad things were when I saw camera equipment and half a dozen of his friends. “I should go.”
“No, we’re going to have fun,” he argued, grabbing me from behind. “Just be good and we’ll have some fun.”
“This does not look like fun for me,” I drawled.
“Whores like you enjoy fucking,” he snapped as he pulled me into the group. “And we’re going to make so
me money off of that and get some good scenes for porn sites.”
“I’m a stripper, not a prostitute, and it’s still rape.”
“No one cares when it’s a girl like you,” one of the other guys chuckled. “Now act like we’re raping and hurting you or we can really do it.”
“I choose option C,” I purred before throwing my head back and hitting the guy holding me in the face. I spun around and decked him before he even had time to catch up. I kicked out at the one closest to me, my foot connecting solidly with his head, and he went down like a rock.
One of them pulled a gun as they realized shit was going on. I turned and grabbed his arm, but he fired it when it was up in the air. He got off another two shots before I smacked the gun away, annoyed because someone would definitely have heard that in the dead of night.
Fuck. That meant cops. Even in this area they couldn’t not come when there were gunshots.
I sighed, letting the next one hit me before laying him out. I took a few more hits I didn’t let my body heal from, annoyed since I didn’t want to use any energy for that when I was already running low. And of course I heard sirens as I was finishing with them all. I let out a heavier sigh and headed for the door, knowing I had to jump through crap hoops and this obviously hadn’t been the guy I wanted.
Then again, at least they would be caught instead of them hurting another woman.
I held up my hands when the squad car slid to a stop at the curb. Two officers jumped out with their guns in hand, searching the area with trained precision. “They’re all knocked out inside. I don’t know where the gun landed.”
They both blinked at me before nodding, one coming in closer. “Stay here. We need to question you.”
I nodded, knowing the drill. I sat on the car and checked out my nails, glad at least the polish had held up so I didn’t have to fix them before tomorrow. My hands were cut up, but that would heal.
They came back out a few minutes later, each dragging one of the knocked out guys already handcuffed. Another squad car pulled up as they threw them in the back of the car. They helped get a few more, and then more cars pulled up, one an unmarked cruiser that normally held the person in charge.
I swallowed drool when a very sexy man stepped out of that one. My hunger rose, and I squashed it down, knowing there was shit to handle first before I enjoyed my next fun and meal. His gaze focused on me, and after talking with one of the first cops, he came right over.
“Can you tell me what happened here, Miss?”
“The guy was waiting for me outside the club and said he wanted to take me out. I thought breakfast and maybe some fun. We pull up here, and I told him I’m out, but he says he bought the place and wants to show me his new business. I figure why not?”
“Because that’s not safe,” he answered.
I shrugged. “Life ain’t safe, and sometimes the best fun can be had in the weirdest of places.” I smirked at him when he caught my drift. “And clearly I can handle myself.” I waited until he nodded. “He pulls me over and says they’re gonna film some porn and I can play nice and get into the rape act or they can really gang rape me. I answered with a head butt when they got rough after I said no, and one pulled a gun.”
“What club was this at?” His eyes flashed shock when I told him. “You’re a stripper?”
“Yes, and?” I asked, raising an eyebrow that I dared him to say shit. “I like to dance and the music, and if men want to pay me to do it naked, then I will gladly take their money.” I continued once he nodded. “And no, I don’t turn tricks, and I’m not a whore. He was a cute dork who I’ve seen a few times and seemed like he wanted to get breakfast.”
“I wasn’t judging,” he told me, his lips twitching though.
No, he wasn’t, which was rare and I appreciated.
“So how does one woman in heels take out seven guys? One with a gun?” he asked, focused back on the situation.
“A few martial arts belts and a very bad temper when a man doesn’t listen when I say no.” I smiled at him but then winced when it made my face hurt.
He leaned in and checked out my wounds. “You should be more careful, Miss. We’ve had two women who were strippers turn up dead recently.”
“I heard of one,” I muttered, glad he knew of the case at least so I could get some information about it. “No one seemed worried or concerned since she was one of us.”
His eyes flashed anger. “We very much care and don’t give a shit as to her profession. One was working through college, and the other is still a person and the victim.”
“I’m glad someone on the case cares,” I praised, leaning into him. “Most don’t have such good hearts.”
His nostrils flared with desire, but he was respectful and moved away. “Let me call for an ambulance.”
“I’m good.” I shrugged when he shot me a look. “No insurance since I just moved back to Canada and it takes a bit for the paperwork.” I cleared my throat and rubbed my neck like it hurt, drawing attention to my breasts, which he quickly glanced at. “I don’t think I even have a first aid kit. You think any place is still open around here to get stuff?” I gave him a heated look. “Or maybe someone trustworthy who wouldn’t mind doctoring me up?”
He cleared his throat and glanced at his notepad as he adjusted how he stood. “I’m sure someone would love to help you however you needed. Let me get your information and wrap things up here first.”
“I locked my purse in the car,” I told him before pulling out my keys and heading over there. He came with me, and I noted his eyes were on my ass when I bent over to get what I needed off the passenger’s seat. I met his gaze when I stood, letting him know he was busted and I was fine with it. “I didn’t catch your name.”
“Detective Ryan Reynolds.” He sighed when I raised an eyebrow. “No relation, and Ryan is a common name, and Reynolds isn’t exactly an uncommon last name. I’m not the only one I’ve ever met.”
“I don’t judge,” I promised. “Besides, I have a stripper name as my legal name.” I pulled out my ID and showed him.
“Lola is a pretty name,” he muttered as he took it from me.
“Thank you.” Of course he didn’t know that Lola Chase wasn’t my real name nor how many different names and IDs I’d used over the years. Or that I wasn’t human.
That wasn’t the sort of thing you told the cops. Like ever.
“Well, Ms. Lola Chase, let me finish up with this and give a few orders and then we can get you fixed up.”
I looked him over, taking my time and letting him see it. “I leave myself in your hands then, Detective.” I met his gaze and smiled. “I mean, you didn’t even pat me down for weapons yet, so we should certainly do that.”
His nostrils flared again, and he looked ready to break, but the man kept professional even as he gave me a look that he would certainly do that as soon as he could. I watched his very fine ass as he went back to the other cops. They’d called for another car to get all the guys, and I saw people heading in with cameras to take pictures for evidence.
About ten minutes later, he came back over to me and said I was free to go, handing me back my ID. I needed to come into the station and sign my full statement, and they’d call me when it was ready.
“Change your mind?” I asked, curious as to how he was acting.
“Giving you a chance to change your mind, as you’ve been through an ordeal tonight and I don’t want to take advantage of that,” he said gently.
I shrugged. “I see it as my night improving.” I smiled when he gave me a shocked look. “I thought I’d have breakfast and flirt with a regular to be nice as the new girl, and here I met a very attractive man who wants to bring me home and patch me up. I can buy my own damn breakfast.”
He gave a slow nod, seeming to have a war within himself between doing what he should and what he wanted. “Go back down this street and turn right at the light and pull over there. I’ll be right behind you in a minute, and if you want to follo
w me, it’s a free country.”
“As long as I’m welcome. I wouldn’t want to get arrested for stalking.” I slid my ID into my wallet and tossed my purse onto the passenger’s seat. “Though I do love handcuffs.”
He looked like he swallowed a groan, watching me as I got in my car and pulled out. I followed his instructions, and not three minutes later he turned onto the street. It was easy to spot him since the area was dead and I’d gotten a good look at the car. I followed him out of that area and to a better one. Not a super nice area, but normal, nondescript but nicer.
I saw the spots were assigned at the parking lot he pulled into, finding a posted place for guests for my own vehicle. It put me closer to the door though, so I enjoyed the view of watching him walk towards me.
“I should warn you of one thing,” I said when he reached me.
He sighed. “I knew there was no way I could be so lucky. What’s the catch?”
“No catch,” I chuckled, not even upset he thought that. “I don’t keep anyone. I only play once because I like to move around and be free.”
He gave a slow nod. “Good to make things clear from the start.” He held out his hand to me, and I took it, letting him lead me into the building. We rode the elevator in silence and walked down the hall a bit before he stopped at a door. He let me in, clearing his throat nervously. “Sorry the place is a mess. I don’t really ever have company over.”
I shrugged as I checked it out. “I haven’t even unpacked much at my place.” I nodded in the direction of what was probably his bedroom. “Bathroom in there?”
“Oh, yeah, let’s get you patched up,” he muttered, walking over there quickly, nervously, which was incredibly endearing given he had been all business and professional at the scene. He turned on lights as we went and stopped by the door of the bathroom. “What do you need?”
I kept his gaze as I set down my purse and started undressing. Moments later I stood there completely naked. “Someone to wash my back would be nice. I want to clean up after work.”
